WICHITA FALLS, Texas (September 24, 2026) Tim Lockhart, a retired Air Force civil engineer officer and REALTOR® with the Lockhart Real Estate Team at Keller Williams Realty, has been selected as a founding Ambassador in the KW Military Community, serving Wichita Falls, Texas. He is the first KW Military Ambassador in the state.

Nobody made him do this. No state requires it. Keller Williams does not require it. No client has ever asked for it by name.

He raised his hand. Then he was selected.

What Is a KW Military Ambassador?

A KW Military Ambassador is the local guide for military-connected real estate agents in their market. Ambassadors welcome new agents, show them the way in, connect them to the right people, and check on them when things go quiet.

KW Military is the Keller Williams community for agents who are active duty, veterans, or military spouses. The Ambassador role is a volunteer leadership position, and it comes with no extra pay and no reduced workload. It is time Tim gives on top of running his own business and serving his own clients.

The role is also selective. Meeting the requirements makes an agent eligible. It does not make them appointed. Tim is both a founding Ambassador and the first KW Military Ambassador in Texas.

Why Did Tim Lockhart Volunteer for This Role?

Tim volunteered because he believes military-connected agents deserve the same sense of belonging they had while serving. In his words:

“New military-connected agents should feel a belonging and acceptance with other agents and the sense of community we experienced in the service.”

Anyone who has served knows the feeling. You show up at a new base, and somebody meets you, shows you where things are, and makes sure you are not sitting alone that first week. That support system tends to disappear the day you take off the uniform.

Real estate can make the gap feel even wider. New agents are independent contractors in a commission business, and many spend their first year figuring things out on their own. Tim wants to be the person who meets them at the door.

Who Is Tim Lockhart?

Tim Lockhart is a retired Air Force civil engineer officer who served twenty years before building a real estate career in Wichita Falls. He leads the Lockhart Real Estate Team at Keller Williams Realty and focuses on military families and veterans across North Texas.

His team works with families moving to and from Sheppard Air Force Base, home of the 82nd Training Wing and the Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training program. He also helps veterans and local homeowners buy and sell in Wichita Falls, Burkburnett, Iowa Park, and the rest of Wichita County. Tim is a RamseyTrusted agent and holds the Military Relocation Professional (MRP) certification.

His approach comes from sitting on the client’s side of the table. Tim made multiple PCS (permanent change of station) moves during his career, including two while deployed. On one of those moves, his family sold their home with an agent who called himself a military relocation specialist but did not really understand what a military family was up against. That experience stayed with him.

Today, Tim starts every listing with a strategy conversation instead of a sign in the yard. Some sellers need top dollar. Some need speed. Some need certainty because the moving truck is already booked and the report date is fixed. The plan gets built around the family’s orders and priorities.

The Ambassador role builds on community work Tim was already doing through The Falls Home Front. That brand includes his podcast and a year-round series of free community events, each tied to a local charity.

In 2026 alone, Home Front events collected coats and shoes for the Wichita Falls Area Foster Parent Association, supported the Home for Freedom Tiny Home project at a spring BBQ hosted at American Legion Post 169, and gathered diapers and baby clothes for the Rainbow Room of the Wichita County Child Welfare Board.
